Voting Conservative means

Conservatives will fast-track approvals for projects such as transmission lines, railways, pipelines and other critical infrastructure. They will lead the change to build the Energy Corridor in a manner that embraces indigenous histories. First Nations will be involved, ensuring that economic benefits flow to them and that their approval is secured before any money is spent on the Energy Corridor Project. This project will speed construction of infrastructure needed to sell Canadian natural resources in new markets and would result in billions of dollars in new investment into our economy. 

How do we solve the housing affordability crisis? Poilievre will axe the GST on all new homes under $1.3 million, saving homebuyers up to $65,000 on the purchase of an average home in our big cities and sparking 36,000 new homes built every year. Liberal inflation drove the benchmark of house pricing across Canada, Poilievre will build homes, create space for people to buy homes and put Canadians first. 

After the Lost Liberal Decade, it is a Canadian dream to save up for a downpayment. Housing costs have doubled, they have risen faster in Canada than any other G7 country. It is time to put Canadians first, and to bring back a time housing was accessible.  When Poilievre was housing minister, 39 percent of the median household’s income would cover the cost of homeownership. But with Carney’s advice and Trudeau’s leadership, the median household now has to spend up to 60 percent of their income. In Vancouver, you now need to earn $243,300 just to qualify for a mortgage on the average home, while in Toronto, that number is nearly $223,290. And that’s on top of saving for the downpayment itself.

How does Canada move forward with Trump in power? By choosing the Conservatives, they plan to cut federal sales tax from Canadian-made vehicles to support the auto industry reeling from Trump’s tariffs. A list of eligible new vehicles include the Toyota RAV4, the Honda Civic and CRV, the Chevrolet Silverado. The conservatives support the plants in Ontario. As long as the tariffs are in place, the conservatives plan to eliminate the sales tax from the purchase of Canadian cars. 

The conservatives have a plan to expand tax write-offs for trades workers. A Conservative government would also eliminate the requirement for an overnight stay and reduce the minimum distance required for the tax relief to 120 kilometres from home, instead of the current 150 kilometres.
